all new managers working in the SHQ. From the course

  promotions, what's an IDP, all you need to know on work

Accelerating Performance through Coaching and CAP: many dates in Q1
 
Accelerating Performance through Coaching
is a half-day, instructor-led, highly experiential
training program focused on providing people
leaders basic competence in providing
feedback, setting effective quarterly
performance goals and coaching their team
members to achieve business results.

This program is tightly aligned with the
Performance Acceleration Process (PAP) and the
quarterly performance conversations.

Change Acceleration Process is a 2-day workshop
where intact project teams learn how to apply the CAP
methodology, framework and tools to existing projects
involving change. The workshop provides a flexible,
non-linear model that can be applied to any project,
program, market launch, or organizational initiative
which can accelerate team progress and enable
  movement forward.
CAP is the change methodology Medtronic has chosen
to deploy across the organization to address change in
a more systematic, rigorous manner. Change agility will
help Medtronic reach our strategic goal of serving 25
million patients annually by 2020.

Introducing the Medtronic New Employee Orientation (NEO) Online Course
– MANDATORY from 1st May
 
From 1st May 2012, all new employees are required to complete the Medtronic New Employee Orientation (NEO)
Online course within their first 30 days. This e-learning replaces the in-class New Employee Orientation Program
that used to be offered in Tolochenaz.

Why am I getting this?
Integrating new employees into your team quickly and effectively
is a critical task for leaders. This e-learning has been designed to
support managers in this process.

What is the content?
Globally aligned, foundational information regarding Medtronic
business, culture, structure, and processes.

How long is it?
It is modular and it takes about 6-8 hours to complete

Who is this for?
Every new employee (anyone who is set up in PeopleSoft)
– full-time and part-time employees and interns

Where do I find it?
On Saba, search for "Medtronic New Employee Orientation"

What's my role as a manager?
You need check your new hire have access and can find it.
The e-learning is automatically assigned to all new hires that are
regular Medtronic employees or interns. You also need to make
sure you plan time for your new starter to be able to complete
this e-learning within their first 30 days.
